A Brief History of Ardell Lashes

The number-one selling faux lash brand was born in 1971 to a man in love with the business of beauty.  Arnold Miller was a charismatic and innovative hairdresser and businessman in Ohio.  Miller, along with his wife and partner, Sydell Miller, were enjoying the success of their own line of hair products. They continued their winning streak with the introduction of Ardell Duralashes, individual faux eyelashes.  The brand name was a blending of their first names—Arnie and Sydell became Ardell—and also a tribute to their long-term collaboration.

The Millers traveled from salon to salon introducing Ardell lashes and demonstrating their ease of use and versatility.  In this way, they grew their business and soon Ardell strip lashes and individual lashes were on the shelves in many professional and retail stores.

Always loyal to his beginnings as a hairdresser, in 1980Arnold Miller launched a range of hair care products he called MATRIX.  Today, MATRIX is the leading professional hair care and hair color company in the United States.

As MATRIX grew, however, the Millers found themselves devoting less time to Ardell.  When they sold to Zvi Ryzman and his company, American International Industries, they were confident that Ardell would be in good hands.  Ryzman steadily built the Ardell distribution until it soon surpassed any other false eyelash brand.  A favorite of make up artists, Hollywood A-listers and anyone looking to flash some lash, Ardell lashes have become part of millions of women’s morning routine.

Ardell offers many styles in strips and individual lashes with a full line of accessories including adhesives, combs, curlers and tweezers. Ardell individual lashes use a patented knot-free technology. Lashes can be used again and again.

Fashion Lashes, our most popular lashes, are lightweight and come in a reusable box. Lower lid lashes are also available.  Fashion Lashes Starter Kit is ideal for first-time lash users. The Starter Kit contains everything needed to apply false lashes in three easy steps.

DuraLash individual lashes are the closest thing to natural lashes ever developed. These exclusive knot-free individual lashes are permanently curled, waterproof, easy to apply, and comfortable to wear for up to six weeks at a time. One DuraLash package contains 56 lashes and they are available in Flare and Naturals styles and come in black or brown and short, medium and long-lengths.

InvisiBands have an invisible band that connects the hair strands to form a strip. They are knotted and feathered by hand for perfect uniformity and an absolutely natural look.

LashLites use long, fine hair strands that adhere easily to the lid. These long, airy lashes are light and comfortable for a great fit with little or no trimming.

Elegant Eyes are just what you need to create a natural look with glamour and style. Night life just got more glamorous with three styles featuring a hint of glitter, one with a metallic accent and two with sparkling rhinestones.

Ardell lashes have been featured in countless beauty magazines including O-the Oprah Magazine, Allure, InStyle, Elle, Glamour, Lucky and Redbook.  They have a celebrity following and have been used by Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon, Beyonce, Rihanna, Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Terri Hatcher, Gwen Stefani, Angela Bassett, Rachel Hunter and all over the runways at New York Fashion Week.

Strip Lash Class:

1. Remove the lash from the tray by pressing the lash with your thumb against the tray in a downward sweeping motion until it comes away from the tray.

2. Pick up the lash (with a tweezers) from the center and place it on top of the lash.  Align the lash to at the inner corner and then, if too long, cut off any excess towards the outside of the band.

3. Once you’ve sized the lashes, apply a thin strip of adhesive to the band. Squeeze a drop onto the tray and use either the tip of a makeup brush or an orangewood stick to apply the adhesive to the band. Give the adhesive about 30 seconds to set.

4.  If your tweezers are directly in the center of the lash and you align the tweezers with the center of your eye, you’ll get it right the very first time.  Just set the strip on top of the lash, in the center of the eye and either using the tip of your tweezers or your finger tips, gently push down across the band to secure, and then hold the corners down for a few seconds.  The adhesive dries completely within a minute or so.

No curling, no smudging, no clumps, just great looking lashes.

And remember:

·          After you take them off at night, clean off the adhesive and place them back on the tray so you can wear them again.

·          You may apply your favorite mascara after lash application to blend them in with your false ones, but it isn’t necessary.

·          Temporary eyelashes can't be kept on overnight.

·          Never share false eyelashes.

Re: Å FINNE RIKTIG FARGE PÅ SMINKEN
Heisann ! Hadde blitt glad for tips :)
